Making known the reality of Jesus
Here at 'The Wave' we place a high priority on our small groups/ Life Groups.
These groups provide the opportunity to build community, to get to know others in the church and invest into each other’s lives through Christ. Life groups are a great way to really connect into church life. For many it is difficult to establish meaningful connection on a Sunday morning. Life Groups present an opportunity to really get to know others in a small group setting. When we ask people what benefits they find in Life Groups, they often respond that they are encouraged and supported in their faith, and are developing and deepening new and meaningful relationships.

Little Blessings Playgroup is a program run by 'The Wave' for children from 0 to kinder aged. This is a fantastic way to meet and play with other families from our local and church communities. Playgroup is run on selected weekday mornings. Activities can involve craft, sand and water play through to balloons and bubbles. Christian values such as sharing, kindness and gentleness are encouraged. Each session includes plenty of time to explore and learn through play and interaction with other children. It also provides a great opportunity for mums to connect and develop great friendships. Registration is essential and parents are required to supervise their children at all times.
Leaders should be made aware of any dietary requirements or medical conditions. There is a small fee each term which covers running costs and supports a compassion child in Indonesia.

Pastoral Care and Support is an integral part of church life. We work together to love and support each other in every possible way. Pastoral Care involves three main areas'
When people arrive at church on a Sunday morning we love to make them feel welcome with a friendly face and an open hand to shake. We encourage everyone in our church family to stay for tea and coffee following our service to welcome those who are new and to build relationships with others within our church family.
This is a wonderful opportunity to help connect into the life of the church. It may involve having and individual or family for a meal, introducing them to others with similar interests or encouraging involvement in a Life Group. The Wave regularly has welcome lunches for newcomers at the church. This allows people who are new to the church to meet with other new people and develop relationships to help create a sense of 'family' at The Wave.
There are also opportunities to support people in need or crisis. This involves care such as visitation, prayer support, phone calls and practical support.
For more information regarding pastoral care and support, please contact Pastor Sandra Cooper on 5255 1378 or email: email@example.com
