Kids Hope is an exciting program developed through world vision to reach out to children in need and is making a very real difference in the lives of many children. Meaningful relationships with caring adults helps to build children's resilience so they are better equipped to handle the pressures of life.
This program is offered by 'The Wave' at Surfside primary school and is set up to support individual children needing encouragement. Kids Hope runs during the school term at Surfside Primary School.
This program is based on each trained mentor coming alongside 1 student, spending 1 hour a week, supporting and encouraging them throughout the school term.
Children: Because every child matters
Relationships: Because love is only possible person to person
Faithfulness: Because 'If I say I will, I will' (reliability)
